Not a toy but invaluable and the kids do treat them like a toy in many ways.
These cups tend to last a long long time. Main issue is if you ever use milk or anything other than water in them you may start to develop mold. Now it’s pretty easy to clean but you have to clean frequently.
So, just stick to water. My kids love these and they’re great for the crib or bed. No spilling unless they squeeze the top while upside down.
